Mohave is a public procurement agency that simplifies the purchasing process for a variety of goods and services including but not limited to materials, equipment, supplies and construction while maintaining full compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and statutes. Mohave has received the NIGP Outstanding Agency Accreditation Achievement Award.

How does Mohave (MESC) work?

Mohave conducts a competitive sealed bidding process in compliance with the Arizona State Procurement Code, and Arizona State Board of Education procurement rules.

Unit pricing is established through market trends relating to the condition of the economy. Adjustments allow MESC vendors to pass on savings to Mohave Educational Services Cooperative members while remaining competitive in the marketplace. All unit pricing is published to Mohave members allowing them to verify any project costs.

Members work directly with Mohave approved vendors throughout the entire sales process. Mohave reviews all purchase orders on behalf of members and vendors to ensure compliance with contracts.

There is no membership or annual fee to join; Mohave’s 1% administration fee is included in the contract price for most products and services to fund Mohave Educational Services Cooperative’s operations. This fee covers expenses such as salaries, facilities, vehicles, insurance, and supplies.
