Asphalt Patch Repair | Asphalt Skin Patching in AZ, NV, NM, TX
Step 1: The repair area is swept of dust and debris.
Step 2: We apply a tack coat to the existing surface for adhesion with the new asphalt.
Step 3: New asphalt is placed over the tack coat.
Step 4: The new asphalt is compacted using a vibratory roller or vibra-tamper.
Step 5: The area is swept of any excess material.

For low, depressed surfaces in your parking lot where the underlying foundation is structurally sound, asphalt skin patching is a viable and valuable option. We also recommend this solution for smaller areas where the asphalt is showing signs of deterioration such as raveling.

- Application

Before completing asphalt patch repair on your parking lot, Ace will perform any required maintenance to your concrete surfaces adjacent to your asphalt pavement. The repair area is then cleaned of debris. Next, we apply tack coat to the existing surface for proper adhesion with the new material.

New asphalt is then placed over the tack coat and compacted using a vibratory roller or vibra-tamping compactor. Because the skin patch is placed on top of existing pavement, the finished surface may be slightly higher. The edges are blended in, or "feathered", as much as possible before the area is swept again to remove any excess material.

Your surface is now ready for additional maintenance or finishing work such as seal coating or parking lot striping.

  • Minimized Down Time: Asphalt skin patching minimizes the down time for your parking lot or traffic area.
  • Cost-Effective: Our asphalt patch repair service provides you a less expensive alternative to removal and replacement (subgrade issues may be identified during a removal and replacement project which often carry high, unexpected costs to repair.
