Mike Moertl – Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mike Moertl began working for the company in 1978. He began his career as a laborer and worked his way up, learning many different facets of the organization and industry along the way. In 1982, Mike was asked to relocate to the Phoenix area from Wisconsin to start and lead production operations at the newly formed Ace Asphalt of Arizona, Inc. 19 years of experience in a variety of positions throughout the company made Mike the choice candidate for the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, which he assumed in October of 2001.
Mike's business experience has given him 31 years of exposure and experience in sales, marketing, customer service, strategic planning, operations, training, safety implementation, maintenance, high-end machinery & equipment purchases, scheduling and employee development.
Ace Asphalt is a good team player to have on GMP projects as they provide resources and solutions to get the job done successfully.
