Tim Drexler – President and Chief Executive Officer

Tim DrexlerTim Drexler, son of Ace Chairman John Drexler, began helping his father at age six and in 1978 became a full-time employee of Asphalt Maintenance Parking Stripes, Inc., the predecessor company to Ace Asphalt in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tim started his career the old-fashioned way, with a shovel in his hand. First working in field operations, then sales, Tim moved into management in 1979, managing operations for the company’s Madison, Wisconsin branch.

Ace Asphalt of Arizona Inc. was started in 1981, and Tim assisted in the startup of that operation while maintaining his residence in Wisconsin. In 1983, Tim moved to Phoenix full-time and served multiple roles before becoming paving division production manager in 1986, then on to sales manager in 1993. His experience throughout the company allowed him to effectively step into the role of Chief Executive Officer in 1998.

In 2002 he co-won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award with his father, and in 2005 he purchased Ace Asphalt from his parents. Currently, Tim is also president of Four Corners Construction Group, Ltd., an insurance company serving a number of businesses in the western U.S.

Tim has been a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization since 1996 and in the community, he served five years on the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation board, and continues to serve on the board of In His Service, a faith-based non profit organization that mentors and integrates ex-offenders productively back into civilian life.

Ace Asphalt was extremely flexible with our scheduling needs and made numerous trips out here to make sure the work was performed to our expectations.
